Master the art of good behavior

Master the art of good behavior

Mirroring the Behavior

Each day, kids go to school and receive lessons on behavior. Parents and teachers are always eager to teach good qualities to children. When a child misbehaves, it quickly catches society’s attention. However, we often forget that children mirror their surroundings. Whatever parents, teachers, and peers do, the child learns. It is a natural phenomenon. While there may be exceptions, in general, a child’s surroundings significantly impact their thought process. We sometimes see children exposed to terrorism or fanaticism in the name of God during early childhood, which makes them violent and leads to the loss of a rational mindset. Under the influence of brainwashing, they lose their independent thought process and start misbehaving with others. Let us understand how good behavior helps us become better human beings.

Good Behaviour with high level of mundane Education

The Vedic principles stemming from Sanatan Dharma are the tenets of an ancient civilization still relevant today. Although its influence is diminishing over time, we can learn much from it that cannot be discarded. According to Vedic scriptures, whatever we study in education, literature, language, grammar, astrology, or other important fields, it is futile if we do not inculcate good behavior. Sometimes, we see CEOs or founders of large companies misbehaving with employees or customers, driven by false prestige and arrogance. But material nature is strict and immediately reacts, either through a fall from prestigious positions or a drop in stock prices. If not, it paves the way for the ultimate degradation of one’s reputation.

Advantages of a good conduct

  1. If we develop a habit of a good conduct, it helps us maintain a good and healthy life. Though as per our past Karma(actions) we are bound to get certain reactions, a weapon of good conduct help us to navigate through the suffering phase.
  2. There is a growing trend now a days to use ayurvedic techniques and methods to beget a good child. It is quite popular for married couple adopting this highly scientific and impactful method of Ayurveda which is called as Garbhdaan Samskar. In fact, it was a main reason ancient people of Bharat were highly virtuous and ruled the earth most of the time.
  3. A good conduct can also help one increase the treasure of money and prosperity. A bit surprising but it is true. If you go to a Gujarati or Marwari shops(shops run by certain ethnic group in India who are generally good at business), you will find the shop owner speaking sweetly and nicely to all customers. Even if the product is mediocre he/she just win the heart of the customers by reflecting a good vibes and empathetic behavior. It works so well that it can just increase customer retention rate and induce repeat purchase. In turn, the shop owner earns hefty money through a basic technique of a good behavior.
  4. A good conduct can help you fight the negativity and adverse situations. If you have watched Shark Tank India, you can understand the importance of good behavior. In the grilling and highly tense situation created by the investors or judges, the participants sometimes just use the positivity of behavior and spell the charm of a promising startup pitch. Even if your product or content is average, a good conduct instills the confidence and reflects the empathy of an individual. The result is evident from the "Yes" word uttered by the investors. Though it is not a general principle that a good conduct can assure you a definite reward but it does help you get what you deserve.

Do remember that it requires years and years of practice to master this art. But it is better late than never. Even if you are at whatever stage of your life, do try to practice it and see the results. Initially, you may have to consciously apply this principle in life, but gradually your subconscious mind can help you achieve the desired result for sure.
