Last week, BDO Canada Forest Products Advisory team was pleased to welcome to British Columbia, our friends from Timberlink Australia & New Zealand and NeXTimber (by Timberlink) . The objective of the trip was to share knowledge with a view to improving practices in both Canada and Australia - and sharing we did!
On the final day, BDO hosted a networking reception at our newly renovated downtown office space. It was a fantastic evening of making connections and learning about each other's perspectives on the forest and mass timber industries. Thank you to all that attended! ( Shahed Tootoonian, CFA, CPA, CA Brent Olund Julien Leger Nick Milestone David Chiew Andrew Weyrauch Kim-Jana Henze, CPA, CMA and everyone else from Timberlink and BDO).
BDO's Forest Products Advisory team is a leading provider of professional services to the forest industry. We have a vast network of relationships across the industry, in Canada and around the world. Global forests have never been more important than they are today - its industry feeds communities and its ecology feeds the biosphere. Harnessing the significance of forests on a global scale requires collaboration on a global scale. We embrace these opportunities and look forward to supporting everyone on the journey before us.
If we can be of assistance, don't hesitate to connect - it is truly our passion. BDO's BC Based Forest Products Advisory leadership team:

11 个月A massive thank you to @Spencer Cotton, @Oliver Matters from BDO’s Canada Forest Products Advisory Team for hosting our team last week. The team thoroughly enjoyed visiting various mass timber and saw milling operations across the British Columbia area and forming meaningful industry connections. We all walked away with significant insights, a newfound understanding along with new and valuable relationships. A huge thank you must also go to @Katherine Robertson at BDO Melbourne who helped facilitate the connection with BDO Canada – another significant example of the ongoing growing relationship with Timberlink.
