Mass Redundancies – best practice for employers
If you as a company are trying to work out how best to save costs redundancies are usually the first thing you think of, although you should consider all available options including re-deployment. If you need to make redundancies on a large scale you will need to consult with all affected employees and, by law, you must inform the government's Redundancy Payments Service (RPS) about your planned redundancies. Failure to follow this process may give rise to potential claims against you in an employment tribunal. Contact me at Bradley Haynes Law to discuss how I can assist and the options available at [email protected] or on 01905 900919.
