Mask law and social distancing set to go in England - Infections up, deaths up: Where is the logic?

Read this with absolute despair with the lack of logic and complete ignorance of what is really happening. We have had reports of well-known people catching COVID despite 2 jabs.

Being diabetic and on the at risk list - like many others, we are certainly not being guarded by this Government. As riskier people, of which there are likely to be many, we are more in danger of catching COVID even after two jabs with our lives being in real danger. When you have the two Main Government advisers quoting increases in rates, why are restrictions being lifted at all. Yes, I realise hospitalisations are down, but it is those that do go into hospital - not to put too fine a point on it, will they come out. None of this is helped by Ministers repeatedly giving ambiguous and non-direct statements giving people options rather than making enforcable rules/laws.
