The 500 Club of apps is made up of apps with over 500 instances and interestingly, while only making up 13% of all apps, the 500 Club members generate 83% of all Marketplace installs! This means we can focus our analytical attention on these 13% of apps, carefully categorizing them into our "Meaningful Categorizations " and including them in category analyses.

Our "Apps to Watch" blog highlights the 10 fastest growing apps with under 500 instances. While the 500 Club is important to us, there is so much great work being done on apps under this threshold it would be amiss of us to not highlight them!

???MARS? Category Leaders
Our MARS? "Meaningful Categorizations" are one of its unique features that makes it so valuable to our customers and the wider Atlassian ecosystem.
The Atlassian Marketplace's categorizations are done through vendor self selection which naturally leads to over-categorization and apps being featured in categories in which they have minimal functionality. On the other hand, MARS? "Meaningful Categorizations" are based on primary functionality. This means that when you look for a Reporting, Publishing, Diagramming etc... app in MARS?, only apps that primarily serve this use case will appear.
Find out the fastest growing app over the past month in each of our "Meaningful Categories"?here .
We hope you enjoyed our recap of all the latest news from MARS? and the Atlassian Marketplace.
