Marry YourSelf First Success Principle #3: Values and Priorities

"It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are." ~Roy Disney

Your values determine what’s really most important in your life. So, what is most important in YOUR life? Your values are the underlying foundational pieces that you've determined to be the most important parts of your life. In other words it’s those standards and principles that you truly stand for. It’s what to fight for and make a stand for. It’s what you'd be willing to risk embarrassment for. It’s what you’d be willing to speak out for even if the numbers were not in your favor. And it’s what you might even be able to be willing to put your life on the line for.

So, what is it that you truly value the most? Is it health? Is it family? Is it freedom? Liberty? What is it that you truly value? Find out and live accordingly!

Your priorities, on the other hand, are your day to day choices about the activities you determine to be most important to you. Typically people's priorities are correlated with their values, maybe not exactly but there is a significant correlation. Your values system will help you to determine what’s most important to do every day. And furthermore, your values and priorities will help keep you on the path of your purpose and your vision, because they should all be in alignment with each other.

Let me repeat that: Your values, your vision and your purpose should all be in alignment with each other.

Marry YourSelf First helps you clarify Your Values.
