The Marriott Egypt Junior Business Council (JBC), a sub-council of the Marriott Egypt Business Council (EBC), consists of high performing millennials, representing all Marriott Egypt Hotel. The JBC was establish to harness Marriott’s millennial intellectual assets and mind-set, solving real-time business, social and human resources challenges. Each Marriott Egypt Hotels has its own JBC. The Chairperson of the property JBC, forms the Marriott Egypt JBC, reporting the EBC. Marriott Egypt Junior Business Council members are exposed to executive level processes and decision-making, preparing them for future senior roles.
Although the JBC are involved in a wide range of disciplines, their focus is on Social Responsibility, Mentorship, Awareness, and Innovation.

Since the start of the COVID 19 pandemic, the Egypt JBC identified the need to support the vulnerable and less fortunate in our communities. This resulted in several project throughout Egypt, with the most resent being providing supplying COVID 19 protective products and food to these communities during EID.
The Sheraton Soma Bay JBC team, throughout the COVID 19 crisis has been one of the most active, providing in excess of 2000 meals in Safaga, the town closes to Sheraton Soma Bay. Answering the call this Eid, the Sheraton Soma Bay JBC again stepped up to the plate, providing COVID19 protective gear, cleaning supplies and food to several less fortunate areas in Safaga, in collaboration with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity.
The Egypt JBC highlights the huge potential the millennial mind-set has, solving modern day challenges, from an innovative and fresh perspective.
