Faced with more purchase options than ever before, storytelling is not only powerful but essential to today’s marketing climate where customers most often make purchase decisions based on connecting with a firm’s mission. To connect to your mission and be inclined to purchase your products and services, customers need to know your story.
To learn more during a recent meeting of key executive members of Executive Forums Silicon Valley, we invited Karl Pontau,”The Story Maker” and founder of Squash & Stretch Productions, to present on marketing your firm’s mission using storytelling and animations.
Karl walked through the need to achieve optimal human-to-human connection electronically when connecting in person is not possible.?
He shared more about the shift driving businesses today to connect their marketing message with their mission and the how and why of using animations and a video format for storytelling.
Karl also illustrated how words combined with illustration in the format of video creates the most compelling story. (There’s a reason that over 10% of the world’s population is active on the video-storytelling social network, TikTok.)
