The theme this week is consistency. Create a mind set that means you’re prepared to post regularly, ideally once a week to stay in people’s minds, something short and sweet but also stay on brand. You have to think about what kind of personality your brand has and then make people comfortable with it’s voice and the message. Find your own voice and look that suits the business and stick to it, you don’t have to be creative, spend some time looking at blogs and branding from all over and take inspiration from someone else’s look if it’s not in the same area as you. You can post about almost anything if you do it well and keep it short, from your latest and cheapest product to who’s birthday it is in the office. It may seem boring but being consistent helps people understand who you are and as people get to know the brand they’ll enjoy feeling part of something. Keep the tone and look the same, don’t change into something else entirely after a week and people will become relaxed and familiar with your brand and most importantly, learn to trust it. For your voice you could choose soft humour, gentle sarcasm, informative, play around with different ideas and play to your strengths, don’t make it hard for yourself because you’re busy running a business as well hopefully!
