Marketing Tips in Just a Few Minutes

In 2018,? Alexa Flash Briefings were attracting the attention of podcasters. The idea of building an audience with short format, daily updates was intriguing, so I gave it a shot. "Just a Few Words" was launched in November of 2018. While the updates were fun, creating a one minute update every day was just not sustainable, so I paused the project.

The content, however, was not lost . The one minute updates , a mix of practical tips and marketing rants became part of the podcast every Sunday morning.

These are just a few of my favorites

With several hundred Marketing Minutes recorded, it is time to try something new. Starting February 2, The Marketing Minute will be replaced by What Went Wrong, a new, series of candid conversations about marketing ideas that didn't work and the lessons learned along the way.

Don't worry, you'll always be able to find these quick tips right here. There may even be some new ones if I get inspired.

Bad Prospects Make Terrible Customers

If you are like me, you work hard to get a prospect. There’s marketing to get them interested and usually a series of conversations and proposal before you close the sale. So when you have an interested prospect, it is hard to let go, but sometimes you should.
