The Marketing Society Star Awards

What are they?

The Star Awards have been developed in line with The Marketing Society global vision to be the world’s most progressive network of marketers, working together to advance the contribution our profession makes to business and society. This fits perfectly with our local hub?vision to build a vibrant marketing community in Scotland renowned for enlightened thinking, innovation and creativity. These awards set the standard for marketing excellence in Scotland.

The theme

The theme this year is 'The Building Blocks of Brilliance'. The building blocks of great ideas, campaigns and teamwork have largely been constructed via virtual rectangular views into our home office, garden, or kitchen table over the past 18 months. Grand physical and emotive constructs have been formed nonetheless, and the design team have done a great job of bringing this to life whilst pointing to the opportunity that exists in being able to redesign fundamental elements of our work and industry in such a period of change.

Tips for entering

1. Use our?Call For Entries?brochure as guidance when planning and writing your entry
2. Read through the?entry requirements, judging criteria and previous shortlists
3. Read through previous?case studies?and start pulling together the information, results and references for your entry
4. Watch the?recording?of our Awards Showcase event where 3 of the?2021 winners gave hints, tips and insights into how to write an award-winning paper
5. Decide if you work with or know any?Rising Stars in the industry. You can nominate Rising Creative, Rising Agency and Rising Marketing Stars by?emailing us ([email protected])?by February 14 2022
6. Nominations for the Champions Category – Inspirational?Agency Leader and Inspirational?Marketing Leader should also be submitted?by emailing us ([email protected])?by February 14 2022

Deadline

All entries must be submitted to us by 5pm on Monday 14 February. We have one-week and two-week extensions available, you can find out more information on them?here. If your organisation has never entered the Star Awards, the first entry is free of charge.
