Marketing Practices Measured

Practices make up your process. Yet, our practices need to catch up with technology. Practices comprise your daily routine... The meetings, deliverables, Slacks, stand-ups and stakeholder communications. Modern practices are key to overall success as even the best strategies and creative will fall apart without good collaboration.

Through the analysis of our marketing practices we can establish a more effective process. Visibility, Alignment & Efficiency are key drivers towards more effective marketing collaboration across individuals and teams. Improving these traits benefit the work and keep heads above water.

We launched a new resource for modern marketers. Marketingcollaboration.com is a growing library of insights, analysis and practices leveraged by leading marketers.

Central to this effort is the Marketing Collaboration Index. We developed a benchmark to help marketing teams and their agency partners measure their effectiveness. This is the same process we use internally at Opal to help brands improve marketing practices and their overall process.

Every team needs to stay on top of their behaviors, mindsets and meetings. Adapting and adopting new practices is a strategic edge in marketing that's a career-long endeavor.

I encourage you to take our self-assessment for yourself and get your team to follow suit.
