In this fortnight's newsletter, I look at the business from the customer's perspective, trace the journey of becoming an entrepreneur and share tips to deal with uncertainty.
Streamline your communication
When you pitch your product or service to a customer, do you only talk about yourself??
Customers want to hear how you can help them.?
Businesses that help customers quickly are more likely to earn their trust. When customers look at a business, they only want to know how the business can help them.?
If that is not obvious to them in the first few minutes of interacting with the business, then they won't be interested any further, and they will move on to the next business that explains this more clearly to them.
Having said that, the credentials and quality of the product or service you offer are important to the customer. However, that can come later. First, they must decide whether you are the business that can solve their problem.
Think about your single-line problem statement today and write out your marketing pitches with your customers in mind. Tell the customers what they want to hear!
