Marketing Masters and Who You Should Know
By Joshua Huddleston
I have been working in this insanely fast paced monster called Social Marketing, or Social Networking industry for about 3 years now. People often ask me where I learned what I have learned and who I look up to for inspiration. I must say that there is no one specific person that would take the cake for "best in my life". I can however say that I have had the wonderful opportunity to attend various bootcamps and marketing events. There is also various YouTube videos and Podcasts that really help me figure out how to get the cutting edge when helping a client.
So who hosts these events I am talking about? I will list the two dominant marketers in order of appearance in my life but remember that both of these gentlemen have many years in the business and all have their unique qualities that have helped me achieve my goals.
Craig Duswalt
- The first Marketing event that I attended was a RockStar Marketing bootcamp. Rockstar Marketing was created by none other than Craig Duswalt. After touring with Guns N Roses and Air Supply Craig combined his backgrounds in both music and marketing, and is now a professional speaker and author, promoting his RockStar Events all over the country, teaching entrepreneurs, small businesses, home-based business and the self-employed how to promote themselves and their business by thinking outside the box at his 2 1/2-Day RockStar Marketing BootCamp every March and September in Los Angeles. Craig's events are always packed with many inspirational speakers and other Marketing geniuses. I love going to RockStar events because you are given so many opportunities to network, and get your product or service seen by many. Event You can find out more at https://craigduswalt.com/
Casey Eberhart
- Casey Eberhart, SendOutCards Founder, is equally as superior as Craig Duswalt but with a different type of flair. Casey's events are awesome, and a bit on the comfier side. Casey's IdealNetworking events are class room style, but the location where he has his events also have a comfy couch, a broadcast viewing screen, tons of treats and drinks for guests, and also a unique professional photo booth! I have met many of my friends and future clients at Casey's IdealNetworking events. How did Casey get his start? At the age of 22 he was made General Manager of a $22 million amusement park. Between toddler and adult Casey majored in both Business Management and Human Resource Management at Washington State University. Casey soon moved to Los Angeles where he won an Oscar for a movie called "Being John Malcovich". Casey continued on his career path and eventually became an elite speaker/serial entrepreneur.
