Rihanna performed at the #nfl #superbowl2023 Halftime Show over the past weekend. American big stars like Beyoncé, Dr. Dre, Eminem, and others have graced this stage for many years. Over 100 million people worldwide watch the halftime show, and for 14 to 17 minutes they are glued to the screen, taking in every element of the artist's performance. What brands love the most is the tremendous engagement both during and after.

I had believed that the New York Times Square was the most expensive advertising medium in the United States. I was shocked to find that brands have to pay 6-7 Million dollars for a 30-second spot during the Super Bowl. MIND BLOWING!
?
How does #nfl justify their rates? Attention, this is their currency. It is the most valuable asset to a brand, when they have it, they convince you to do just about anything…in subtle ways of course.
For instance, #rihanna took a brief break during her performance to grab a #fenty foundation before continuing to rock the stage #productplacement . Watch how quickly Fenty's sales increase from here. Since the younger generation, aged between?18 – 21 , is presumably not familiar with her music either, Rihanna's music is more likely to be searched for and streamed by them. If, for example, 50 million people hear her songs on #spotify , she will typically receive $0.003 to $0.005 per stream, which is quick money. It's a game of numbers!
The more you watch and interact, the more subtly marketers can raise your awareness of their #brand . This is how brands transform attention to money.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the magic that makes me enjoy #marketing !
