Marketing - Its a bitch!??
Today we had an ad in SvD (Swedish newspaper) and of course the audience is very broad so what to do? You obviously need the logo, but by itself it just says nothing, so you need a message and this time we went with “Boost the performance of your supply chain”. Ok, that is exactly what we do, but are we a consulting company? NO, we provide a best of breed software that supports the whole supply chain regardless the challenges.
So, then we put a small text (that no one will read) that tells that we are focusing on forecasting, demand planning and inventory management. But it doesn’t nearly tell that we have around 1000 worldwide customers within the range of small wholesalers to large retailers with hundreds of stores and multiple warehouses and that we support manufacturing companies and every possible integrated supply chain challenge as well as every setup for a multi echelon solution.
In the end, of course, every company has its own challenges and to be able to tweak the solution to basically fit everyone and give every customer the benefit of lower inventory, increased availability, more visibility and timesaving in a proactive solution is great, but it still just scratch the surface.
