Marketing Delivery: A year of growth and development
As we enter our 18th year in business, we’re reflecting on the milestones of 2024, a year of significant growth and development for Marketing Delivery in terms of our team, technology, and client base.
The Team
This year, we welcomed five team members across three business areas: Business Growth, Client Services and Database Development. Andy Donaldson joined us as Sales Director, responsible for driving UK sales growth with a strong focus on creating commercial value for retailers through enhanced customer experiences. We also continued to prioritise client engagement by introducing a new Account Manager, Chloe Gerber, former Lookers Motor Group divisional head of marketing, to manage our expanding roster of clients in the north of England and Scotland.
With technology at the heart of everything we do, we initiated a 12-month expansion programme designed to enrich our portfolio of products and services. This saw us expand our development team with Scott Cowan joining as Technical Lead, focusing on software enhancements and AI-driven innovations. Carl Grebby, our Data Project Manager, came on board to leverage his automotive retail expertise to deliver insights and data benchmarks, strengthening the connection between our Client Services and Tech Development departments, whilst Neal Carter stepped in as a full-time Database Developer to support the growing development team, handling data from an expanding network of vehicle retailers and third-party sources.
“Our success over the past seventeen years is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our incredible team. With over 300 years of combined experience working in automotive across marketing and technology-based roles, we’ve truly built a dream team of industry experts.”
Jeremy Evans, chief executive, Marketing Delivery
The Tech
AI-Powered CRM
We kick-started the year at The NADA Show (National Automobile Dealers Association) with an early exclusive to the ‘AI’ boom of 2024. While we’ve been developing AI-powered products for years, this event inspired us to explore new ways to enhance and refine our technology.
Automotive Benchmarks
When our Commercial Director began researching email performance benchmarks for the automotive sector, she was surprised to find no category dedicated to the industry we know and love. As Marketing Delivery manages CRM solutions for over 500 UK automotive retailers, sending over 1 million emails per month, we found ourselves in the unique position of being able to fill a gap in the industry: Automotive-specific Benchmarks.
Using our comprehensive reporting platform, BrainBox, we analysed 2023 as a whole, and subsequently introduced quarterly benchmark reports, each offering detailed insights and observational commentary. Check out our latest benchmarks blog post here.
VoiceBox Self-Serve
2024 marked a significant year of growth for our marketing automation platform, VoiceBox. It has become the go-to self-serve solution for many new and existing clients, as well as wider industry organisations. We were especially pleased to welcome the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) to VoiceBox, enabling them to enhance proactive and reactive communications with current and prospective members.

VoiceBox Social Enhancements
Last but by no means least, our latest tech developments to be released this year were our VoiceBox Social enhancements: Dynamic Custom Audiences and Offline Conversions. By integrating directly with our client’s DMS, VoiceBox automatically uploads targeted customer data into Meta, allowing precision-focused Facebook and Instagram campaigns without manual intervention. By leveraging first-party data, VoiceBox helps retailers build Dynamic Custom Audiences based on accurate insights into customer preferences and ownership stages, bypassing potential limitations on third-party cookies.
Additionally, VoiceBox’s integration with Meta’s conversions API enables marketing teams to attribute sales enquiries, orders and aftersales bookings to specific Facebook and Instagram ads, providing clear ROI reporting. This feature allows users to track which social campaigns drive the most engagement, giving marketers an accurate view of ad performance without time-consuming, manual processing.
“As we develop our in-house technology, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of strategic partnerships and integrations. In today’s competitive landscape, collaboration is no longer just an option; it’s a necessity. Our partnerships have allowed us to expand our capabilities and deliver enhanced value to our clients.”
Charlotte Murray, commercial director, Marketing Delivery

Collaborating with renowned organisations like Aston Martin Works and Swansway Motor Group reinforces our reputation as a trusted partner in delivering exceptional service. The enthusiasm and confidence shown by clients such as Ancaster and Birchwood motivate us to continually innovate and enhance our offerings.
Furthermore, as we work closely with respected names like Blackshaws, Hedin Automotive and Frosts Cars, we are excited about the opportunities to grow and achieve outstanding results together. Each new partnership represents not just a business transaction but a chance to build lasting relationships based on mutual success and shared KPIs.
“Our client’s trust and collaboration is the driving force behind everything we do. The development of our solutions is based on their real-life feedback and business objectives; without their insights, we wouldn’t be where we are today.”
