When you look at the Fizzy Drinks category there are 3 major brands that have the bulk of our attention: Coca Cola, Pepsi and 7up.

The same goes for mobile phones: Apple, Samsung and Huawei.

Now, let's look at the Metaverse and we have Decentraland, Roblox and the Sandbox. Since the mindspace cannot hold more than 3 brands, it's going to be difficult for late entrants like Horizon Worlds or Bloktopia to take that coveted top 3 slots.
