What is Marketing Automation?

The process of using a CRM automation tool to set up rules for what email, voicemail, and SMS messages go out under which conditions, and which leads get added automatically to ad campaigns.

In a sales funnel automated follow-ups via email, SMS, ringless VM, and calling – are essential to increasing your conversion rates and reducing your customer acquisition cost. You can do these follow-ups automatically via your CRM system (High Level, Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

In our accepted applicant (qualified lead) automated follow-up sequence we send:

  • 6 emails
  • 6 SMS messages
  • 1 ringless voicemail drop

In the first 72 hours (speed-to-lead) we send:

  • 3 emails
  • 1 ringless
  • 3 SMS messages

Separately, our Head of Sales reaches out personally via phone, email, SMS, and LinkedIn.

How often should you send automated emails?

  • Space them out every 2-3 days initially, then every 5 days after 30 days
  • Send high quality and relevant content OFTEN
  • Don’t be afraid to email someone too much
  • In the first 30 days, auto email them at least 10 times
  • If they unsubscribe, they probably weren’t a good prospect to buy

What tools to use to build email automations?

  • Use BeeHiiv, High Level, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or MailChimp as good starting systems?

Remember... JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB JAB RIGHT HOOK. Someone is not going to buy from you instantly. You need to build trust!? Alternate between high quality content (case studies, reports) and short form CTA. Usually you need to email someone 7-10 times before they buy from you.
