Marketing Advice for Coaches

Coaches Looking for More Leads - This is What You Must Do First

Finding leads for coaches is NOT a problem! It's so simple, in fact, then when I work with coaches and explain to them how to find people with the kinds of problems they can help solve, they often laugh at how silly simple it is.

Where the real challenge is when it comes to closing the deal and getting those prospects to become paying clients. This takes a little more skill. Often a coach who is not closing more clients has to look inside and find out what it is about them that they need to work on.

Yes, often it's the coach who needs coaching! If a coach is open to that and is willing to make the changes they need to make inside of themselves, then closing more prospects becomes much, much easier.

I speak from personal experience when I share this because it has happened to me and I see all day long with other coaches. When I finally stopped long enough to correct the issues in me that were getting in the way of closing more clients, things changed.

I literally got to a point where I would routinely close better than 80% of the prospects I would speak with. Sometimes, I would go on a run and close every single person for weeks on end.

At first I thought the "magic" was the form I had created, or the system I had built. As I matured, I realized while those things were important, how I was showing up was really what was making the biggest difference.

My theory proved correct as I began training other coaches. At first, I simply gave them my form and taught them my system. The results were nothing to write home about.

When I worked with those same coaches and had them work on themselves, everything changed.

So, if you are coach and you're not closing enough paying clients, look inside. That's where the answer will be.

Dare I say it... if you can't find that answer... hire a coach!

Thanks for your advice...
