Marketing Advent Day 11

Marketing Advent Day 11! Today I wanted to share a few things I feel is so important to executing an amazing event for your consumers. I feel there are 4 elements to consider throughout the process, Discovery, Story-telling, Consumer Journey and People.
The discovery phase is where you need to ask the most important questions to truly understand what the goal is for the client. I know there are times that you have a brief to follow, and those are super helpful, but that doesn't mean you don't have to dive a little deeper to know what the client truly wants to do to connect to their consumers.
Next is story-telling, everything you create needs to tell a story and tie back to the bigger picture. You can have a ton of amazing smaller ideas but if they don't all tell a story the execution can feel broken and lose its lasting impact.
Third is the consumer journey and this is where the story comes to life. I always try to navigate the experience as if I am a consumer and how my journey could go. No matter my path I want each engagement to connect with me in some way. We all interact with things differently so it won't be the same for all, but if you can create a way to humanize the experience then let the consumers use their imagination and connect in ways that make it impactful for them.
Finally, probably the most important thing for me is the people. Surround yourself with teammates that share your values and passion for reaching consumers. Trust is so important and if you are honest and open minded then you can come together and create some real magic! Thank you to all our amazing partners I have worked with over the years. Here's to you and to many more opportunities to collaborate in the future!
Great article Carter! We always love partnering with you to bring brand stories to life in unique ways.
