The Marketing and Admin Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the marketing and operations team, as well as working closely with the sales and creative team.

Creating a network of events throughout the year bringing sellers of technology to the superyacht industry.? Our main event is an annual Show comprising 120+ exhibitors, 25+ TECHtalk main stage speakers, Discovery Stage product demos, a Grand Gala Dinner and a Pre-Event Cocktail Party.
Main Marketing & Admin Assistant duties and responsibilities
This role will involve a variety of different duties, including:
- Managing social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages
- Creating a monthly newsletter
- Communicating with clients, customers and external agencies
- Creating and delivering presentations
- Using website analytics to ascertain the relative effectiveness of ongoing campaigns and understand the way users interact with the site
- Submitting ideas for marketing campaigns designed to enhance and grow the company’s brand
- Writing and editing press releases
- Attending industry events, conferences and trade shows
- Supporting the sales and marketing director to grow online sales through numerous channels
- Using our database, Nutshell, cleaning and verifying the data
The successful applicant will:
- Ideally, but not essentially, have at least 1 year of experience in a similar digital marketing position.
- Ideally have experience in compiling blogs, be social media savvy, have knowledge of increasing search engine rankings (SEO), email marketing, production of relevant ads and PPC campaigns.
- Ideally be able to use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites.
- Possess drive, self-motivation and a willingness to learn and progress.
- Have excellent communication and analytical skills, be highly organised, focused and have the ability to work unsupervised.
- Be able to work under pressure and be good at multitasking.
- Results driven.
- Have a digital marketing degree (preferred, not essential).
- 14-20 hour week (freelance) we can be flexible on hours and days (not Mondays)
- Monthly pay on invoice – you are responsible for your own tax/NI

- Hybrid working – we have an office in Bath we all attend at least one day per week
- This project would be for November 2023 - March 2024, – however, there is the potential for it to extend and even become permanent depending on the success of the show in March 2024.
