Marketing - 3 Tests to Success

You need to know what problems your customers are experiencing. Your product or service needs to offer an emotional relief. To do this justify the emotional response to buy or not to buy from you.

The following 3 tests are designed to see if your advertising message is geared in the right way to maximise your ROI.

1. BLACK MARKET TEST

Put your ad and a competitor ad and blank out the names. Is it similar? If so then you’re just making noise.

2. SO WHAT TEST

Each point in your marketing messages, can you come up with a compelling value based answer to the question ‘So what?’

3. THE PROVE IT TEST

Do you prove any of your claims? Testimonials, facts etc.

Understanding the buying process together with engaging with your customers provides the framework for delivering the right communication and marketing.
