Market Update!

We're going to do things a little differently this time =)

Being that in the last 30 days, there have been a lot of holidays there is a lot of speculation that the market has been slow.. Well that's not the case.

In the last 30 days, in Tulsa County alone, 3,205 homes sold.
From 12/23/2015-12/26/2015 - 40 HOMES SOLD!

Now, in saying that - in the last 30 days, there were also 2,726 homes that didn't sell. Obviously it wasn't due to "the holidays" because homes sold on Christmas day.

If your home is currently on the market and has been on the market for more than 2 weeks and you haven't received 1 offer, your house is OVERPRICED!

Real talk - According the the National Association of Realtors, if your house has been on the market for 2 weeks and hasn't received 1 offer, it is 10% overpriced.
That is horrifying, I understand, and it totally sucks.
Keeping your house over priced is going to do nothing for you. You have 2 options - reduce the price (you may have the opportunity for a bidding war) or get used to staying in the house and making that mortgage payment for months and months and months.
