been in the Financial Service industry for over 45 years now....
In the beginning of my career there was no internet, no social media, not even computers unless they were Huge Main Frame IBMs which only major corporations could afford..There was advertising in Newspapers, Radio and TV but that was so expensive out of reach for most individuals at the time...
My point is that there was no marketing then there was only selling...
Now my business practice is all about Marketing and the sales will come..I write articles on Linkedin 3 times a week...I net work as a member of the Estate Planning Council..I do radio advertising and seminars have bought leads in the past..... I get referrals even though I hardly ask...I have twitter, face book and Instagram...
It seems I market all the time and the sales follow...
I read all these methods of salesmanship ...how to close a sale increase revenues per sale etc..This is all nonsense if you Market Daily the results will follow...
