Market entry of the drug Rezovet.

I wanted to share my experience in bringing new veterinary drugs to market.

We are talking about the drug Rezovet for the treatment and prevention of bacterial infections. Website: Stemtrix.vet.

The sales scheme is standard B2B. The poultry and egg production market is quite monopolized. In each country, 20 agricultural holdings control more than 50% of the market. This is a given. Therefore, the market is quite narrow and it quickly learns about all innovations.

But you have to be realistic. It takes years to bring a new drug to market and tens of millions of patients (birds) to try the new drug. That is, time and money. And also the authority and image of the developers.

We started introducing our drug Rezovet to the market last year and have accumulated a number of both positive and negative cases. In our case, conditionally negative cases.

A new drug for a poultry farm or for a veterinarian is always a risk. This is objective. Drugs in this category require personal marketing. And here we are faced with a particularly subjective approach on the part of poultry farm veterinarians. Their position can be understood, especially if everything is relatively normal and calm at the poultry farm. And then they come and offer to change something. And this is continuous, usually high-tech and mass production.

As a rule, we try to work with poultry farms according to the following, I think standard, scheme. Presentation of the drug, acquaintance with the poultry farm, joint development of a regimen for the use of the drug Rezovet, production tests on 1–4 poultry houses, consultations during the testing process, evaluation of test results, decision-making on the widespread use of the drug at the poultry farm. But, unfortunately, it doesn’t always work out this way. Quite often, veterinarians at poultry farms independently conduct production tests, and some do not even share both the conditions and the results of these tests. And as you can guess, they make negative decisions, hopefully negative for now.

I deliberately do not focus on the fact that the drug can significantly reduce the use of antibiotics. Although we are often told that antibiotics are not used. However, it later turns out that this is not entirely true. Well, only in the first 5 days, well, only with additives in feed, only according to indications, etc...

Brief description of the capabilities of the drug Rezovet.

The active ingredients of the drug Rezovet are not living organisms (these are secondary metabolites), they are stable, unlike probiotics, and are little susceptible to environmental factors such as heat, humidity and pH changes.

The big advantage is that Rezovet is produced under very controlled, laboratory conditions. And with probiotics and bacteriophages, for example, there are many variables that influence their effectiveness, which depend on the intestinal conditions for the production of their metabolites.

Rezovet helps maintain a balanced and diverse gut bacterial community, which is essential for gut health and overall bird health.

Rezovet stimulates the production of signaling molecules that help regulate immune responses in the intestines that are essential for bird health.

Rezovet helps modulate the stress response of birds, reducing the effects of stress on gut cells and supporting overall health and performance.

By supporting the immune system of birds, which can make them more resistant to infection, Rezovet can also reduce the risk of viral diseases in flocks when used in conjunction with vaccination programs.

So, I will talk about several conditionally negative and several positive cases next week.
