Mark Zuckerberg Officially Introduced Facebook as Metaverse

Facebook will change its name and announce it rebrand development route as soon as next week “Metaworld" refers to the shared virtual space, including all virtual worlds and the Internet, and through the use of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), the user experience becomes more realistic.

Mark Zuckerberg officially introduced Metaverse to Wall Street during the second quarter earnings conference call.?Zuckerberg said that Metaverse is the ultimate embodiment of social technology.?In the next few years, Facebook will transform from a social media company to a Metaverse company. According to David Weiner, Facebook’s chief financial officer, Facebook will invest billions of dollars (approximately tens of billions of yuan) to develop Metaverse.
