Mark Harrison photograph acquired by National Portrait Gallery London.

Adding to my two existing images, the NPG has recently acquired my shot of Jacob Rees-Mogg, taken originally for the Times Magazine.

Following a reproduction in the Guardian, the image gained a mini Twitter storm several months back, that encouraged the author and commentator Bonnie Greer to suggest I approach the NPG with it.

By coincidence I had been compiling a few images to submit anyway, and when I suggested this one, the NPG had taken note of the fuss and were very keen.

The photograph has yet to be displayed, but Bonnie chose to run with this and wrote about it in her weekly New European paper piece last week. I wonder what Mr Mogg thinks..
