Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria(MWUN) Strike

This is to inform you that APMT terminal operations has been shut down by the strike action of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria(MWUN).

This is apparently in relation to the ongoing disputes with the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) on benefits.

MWUN has informed that this work stoppage is being implemented in other terminals nationwide.

This shut down will obviously affect both quay and landside operations. Shipping companies, vessel operators, 3rd party logistics provider and all concerned should please take note of this development.
