A humanitarian operation could deteriorate into a full-blown combat engagement. You may be called upon to provide relief or other materials during a battle. A circumstance that could determine a whole lot of things for you. You have to obey that call, regardless. In a nutshell, always ready to carry the will of the nation when it calls for it.
Another thing that qualifies you as a Marine regarding mindset is your ability to make critical decisions in critical situations in the best interest of the United States. Also, if you possess a tough and champion mindset that doesn't give up even in the face of adversity, then you can be called a true US Marine.
