How long have you worked in new homes?

I have worked in new homes for two years.

What is your day-to-day role?

My current role is incredibly simple, match a buyer to their perfect home! I spend my day getting to know every buyer individually and what they are looking for in a new home before showing them the different options we have for them. It is incredibly rewarding taking someone through the whole process and being the one to hand them their keys on their move-in day.

Can you tell us about Poundbury?

Poundbury is an incredibly elegant new town. It was commissioned to be built by Prince Charles and has been underway since 1993 with about four more years left to finish. It is hard to describe as it is unlike any other town with its mix of architecture and people. There are various different first-time buyer and Affordable Housing options available which makes it excellent choice for those wanting to get onto the property ladder.

What developers have we worked with and what affordable housing developments have we marketed there?

At Poundbury we primarily work with ZeroC Developers who pride themselves on building quality affordable homes. They have a range of schemes available including Shared Ownership, Discount to Open Market, and Help to Buy*. All their developments are a mixture of houses and apartments so there will always be something for everyone.

What are some affordable housing developments in your area at the moment?

There are a lot of affordable properties coming up in Dorset, including the next phase of the Aviators (dates yet to be released) which will include Discount to Open Market properties available for local buyers.
