Mardi Himal Trek is a newly opened popular trek in the Annapurna region. It is located to the east of the Annapurna Base camp virtually under the spectacular Machhapuchhare(Fishtail). This trek is the best destination to avoid the crowd. The trek goes through quiet stone-built villages past wonderful rhododendron forests blooming in many different colors.

The forest path continues until about 3,300m. On the way, you can see astonishing mountain views and landscape. The trail takes on a rugged mountain setting with spectacular views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna South. There are simple guesthouses and Homestays along the entire route. The trail takes you very close to Mount Machhapuchhre.?
