Good morning. Today we look back on the top business stories from last week.

A lean but mean private delegation of tycoons and business leaders accompanied President Marcos to the United States last week. The goal of the delegation is to seize opportunities to finalize investment deals with American companies, a timely message as one US firm plans to build small nuclear power plants in the country.

Is Philippine Airlines the worst flag carrier in the world? The answer is more subjective than factual, but PAL itself admits that competition and its lack of aircraft are impeding its growth. One must wonder how the new president of the LT Group will work to return PAL to its former glory.

The race for a connected nation continues as DITO Telecommunity announces its plans to offer satellite internet service. DITO will not go uncontested however, as another satellite service is readied by a Filipino-owned company.
