THE CLIENT'S CHALLENGE:
A global, privately held manufacturing corporation was struggling with an underperforming Order to Cash (O2C) process, resulting in significant unapplied cash (UAC) and increased business, financial, and compliance risks. The inefficiencies in credit management, billing, collections, and cash application were preventing the company from scaling effectively. The client needed a comprehensive O2C transformation to drive efficiency and support future growth.
OUR SOLUTION:
Pinnacle deployed an Order to Cash Transformation Specialist to enhance O2C operations. Over 14 months, our consultant streamlined financial workflows, reduced risk, and improved cash flow. Credit and customer intake processes were optimized to accelerate onboarding and eliminate delays. Billing accuracy improved, increasing first-pass yield and minimizing errors. A unified collections strategy and technology-driven dispute management enhanced efficiency. Cash application match rates increased, significantly reducing unapplied cash. An advanced A/R analytics framework was developed to monitor performance and drive continuous improvements.

By enhancing the O2C function, our consultant helped the client reduce unapplied cash, streamline financial processes, and establish a scalable system for long-term success.
