Ms. F is original from Cameroon. She was granted asylum in the past and picked up two theft charges while in the US, which triggered removal proceedings. Ms. P was a Green Card holder for many years when she came to see the Law Office of Edward Neufville III, LLC .A ?serious criminal charge and arrest presented a challenge to her naturalization application and her petition for her non-citizen spouse. Attorney Neufville worked for over 2 years to get her spouse’s immigration petition approved. Ms. P has now been sworn in as a U.S. Citizen.

Immigration News this Month
Starting February 26, 2024, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services implemented new processing fees. The USCIS Stabilization Act established the current premium processing fees and the authority for the Department of Homeland Security to adjust the premium fees on a biennial basis. After three years, the Department of Homeland Security is now increasing the premium processing fees USCIS charges for all eligible forms and categories to reflect the amount of inflation from June 2021 through June 2023. Certain fees are raised from $1,500 to $1,685, $1,750 to $1,965, and $2,500 to $2,805. You can read more new processing fees?here.
