It's a Breeze: Ensuring a breeze block fa?ade remains a design feature.

Ancon WP4 Wind Posts and AMR Bed Joint Reinforcement compose the masonry reinforcement system to ensure that breeze blocks retain their structural integrity.


Breeze blocks have made a comeback in contemporary architecture, offering shading, ventilation, light, and privacy while also being sustainable. However, the challenge lies in ensuring their design and structural integrity.

Leviat's Ancon Windposts and reinforcement systems have proven to be an efficient and easy solution for supporting breeze blocks without compromising their visual appeal. Their custom hidden supports were used in Kangaroo Point and Shoreline Queens Beach projects, providing tolerance and flexibility while keeping the main fixings hidden from sight.

Concrete Institute Australia - AS5100 Bridge Design Roadshow

The Concrete Institute of Australia is hosting a national roadshow seminar series sponsored by Leviat to discuss the recent changes made to the Australian Standard AS 5100 Bridge Design - Part 5, Concrete.

This seminar is especially helpful for professionals involved in concrete design, specification, construction, and materials practices. Starting on Tuesday, 12 March 2024, in Sydney, sessions are taking place across the country until 21st March. You can easily access the seminar in your local area.

National Precast Conference - Brisbane, QLD

The National Precast Association has scheduled the first Conference in 2024 for March 19th to 21st?at the Courtyard Marriott in Southbank, Brisbane.

Some of the topics for the Conference include?Managing respirable crystalline silica dust exposure and Improving sustainability outcomes with bridge design and heat curing. There are also updates from working groups, including Weatherproofing and lifting/handling.
