March Newsletter
DEAR LANGUAGE FRIEND,
We hope everybody stays safe during this global pandemic. We want you to know that we are still working during this time, as many of our translators and editors traditionally work remotely from 'home'. This is how we usually operate in the freelance translation world.
Feel free to reach out to us with any translation needs related to the communication of COVID-19. We have already been translating company memos and announcements for some of our clients in the last 2 weeks. We'll be happy to help spread your multilingual message to your clients, colleagues, employees, business partners, and so on. Stay safe!
LingoStar's Response to COVID-19 is available in English, Spanish, Italian, German, and French. Click on the individual languages to get to the chosen language version
Despite the current situation and events being cancelled all around the world, we still would like to share with you the main events planned in Vancouver this month.
This month was supposed to be the month of international celebrations! On March 8th, we celebrated International Women’s Day, a day on which we remember the social and political achievements of women and take the opportunity to strengthen the fight against discrimination and violence. We also celebrated International Wildlife day on March 3rd, and International Day of Happiness on March 19th!
But there’s more! In our blog, we go through two main topics: Effective Communication and Translation Services in Vancouver. You'll find our blog posts right here, see if you get a chance to read them!
Effective Communication
Effective communication consists of information (verbal, non-verbal, written, oral) that is well shared. One should consider emotions, the ability to speak, engaged listening, etc. Find out more by reading our article at the link below!
