Engage is a hands-on initiative by the Griffin GSAS Harvard Biotech Club designed to equip students with concrete biotech skills taught by leading experts in the respective realms. The workshops consist of two sessions with a combination of lecture-based learning and hands-on assignments. The Pitch Deck Creation workshop will teach how to create and evaluate pitch decks. Team of participants will receive feedback from Devin Quinlan and David Kolesky, principals at MPM, after presenting a short pitch on a chosen technology. Limited spots available. Apply by March 22nd.
Join us on March 19 to learn How (NOT) to Pitch Your Startup from Eddie Eltouky, biotech partner at Pear VC! We'll dissect and rebuild common mistakes from hundreds of pitches through memes, call out yellow flags, and demonstrate a pitch in both its flawed and elevated forms. We'll also give more information about how Pear can be a resource to technical founders -- and how to apply for our yearly Pear Competition, where founders can receive mentorship and funding for their early-stage startups or startup ideas. The workshop will be followed by a mixer. We'll have food, drinks, and snacks! RSVP for the event:
