CRUISE & FERRY: Realizing the refurb vision
We are excited to have been featured in the latest issue of Cruise & Ferry where we share our story of #TychoBrahe refit with ?RESUNDSLINJEN.
According to Jolanta Luko?? , our Head of Project Management, the key to the project’s success was the fact the team built a proactive and transparent relationship with the client. “Daily reporting and ‘lean’ practices [which involves assigning specific tasks to individuals] were crucial in maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the project’s progress, and were particularly useful for handling unplanned situations typical in repair projects,” she says.
This edition, reminiscent of pre-pandemic times with its substantial size, brings great news for the industry as a whole.

ABOARD SKY PRINCESS: Aros at CSI+ event
Our VP Business Development Mantas Dubavicius and Sales Manager Ignas Daug?la have just returned from the Cruise Ship Interiors (CSI) event aboard the breathtaking #SkyPrincess by Princess Cruises.
Representing AROS MARINE, they joined the event to connect with customers and meet suppliers, enjoy the tour around the ship and some great live music!?The highlight of the event was the unveiling of Princess Cruises' latest gem, the #SunPrincess. This impressive vessel represents a new era in maritime excellence and is aptly dubbed "Evolution, not revolution," symbolizing Princess Cruises' commitment to innovation and progress.?
AROS TRAVEL TEAM: Seamless travel guarantee
Our #TravelTeam recently had the pleasure of attending an event hosted by our partners, airBaltic airline, and travel agency West Express, at the newly revived and historically rich Victoria Hotel in Klaip?da. During the visit, our colleagues, Natalja Kozheleva and Goda Me?k? learned about the latest travel updates, enjoyed an exclusive tour of the refurbished hotel spaces, and savored a delightful dinner prepared by the hotel's talented chefs.
Our travel team specializes in organizing seamless business trips for employees across various departments, ensuring smooth travel experiences from start to finish. From flights, trains, buses, and ferries to arranging private or group transportation and handling accommodations, they take care of every detail. As Natalja shares, "Our team goes beyond just travel arrangements. We actively seek accommodation providers in project countries, negotiate cooperation agreements, maintain relationships with suppliers, and handle invoicing for services rendered, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our Aros colleagues."
VALUE STREAM MAPPING: Lean training
Our recent?#LeanTraining?session, led by?Evelina Markausk?, Sr. Manager, Business Excellence at Thermo Fisher Scientific, immersed our team in the dynamic realm of?#ValueStreamMapping. Throughout this session, our team deepened their understanding of how to enhance value for our customers across all stages of our processes.?
Under Evelina's expert guidance, we embraced a customer-centric approach to analyzing our process flow. By identifying bottlenecks, reducing information wastage, and prioritizing the customer experience, we focused on where genuine value is created for our clients.?This training served as a roadmap towards operational excellence, providing us with valuable insights to refine the quality of our services.

We are thrilled to showcase Тарас Алипкалиев remarkable 5 year journey at?AROS MARINE. Starting as a worker in 2019 and now excelling as Project Manager, Taras has consistently demonstrated exceptional?#leadership?and a relentless drive for?#success.
A typical day for Taras involves a structured office routine, engaging meetings, tier board discussions, and hands-on visits to the ships, blocks, warehouse, among other responsibilities. His ability to thrive amidst?#diverse projects?and processes simultaneously sets him apart, using challenges as stepping stones for his professional growth.
Reflecting on Taras's journey,?Jolanta Luko??, his director, shares,?"Taras is exceptional at setting goals for himself and possesses a unique determination to achieve whatever that goal may be.
