Anthos Therapeutics,?a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, is being acquired by Novartis's in a deal valued up to $3.1 billion. This will aim to enhance its cardiovascular treatment offerings and includes abelacimab, which is a late-stage medicine that is in development for the prevention of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with atrial fibrillation.
