?? What You Missed
Learning Lab (L-Lab)
Professional development and personal development are often looked at as two separate entities. Unfortunately, when we focus on one development area, we might miss looking at how that development integrates into the other areas that make up how we show up in all areas of our lives.?
On Feb 22nd, 2023, we had a Learning Lab session with the topic being "Holistically Combining Professional and Personal Development," which focused on breaking down three major professional and personal development focus areas and how improvement in one area can genuinely help development in the other areas to improve your life and professional outcomes.?
If you missed this session, don't worry. We got you covered. Click here to watch the recording to be more intentional and genuine toward your development goals.
?? Feature of the Month
Zero Discrimination
On March 1st, people worldwide observe Zero Discrimination Day to promote the idea that everyone deserves to live with respect, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, skin color, etc. The United Nations marked this day on March 1, 2014. The butterfly is the emblem of Zero Prejudice Day.
Zero discrimination in the workplace means treating everyone fairly and equally, regardless of their attributes. It's about creating a work environment that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusivity, and ensures everyone has the same opportunities to succeed.
So, let's all work together towards a workplace where discrimination has no place - where everyone feels valued, respected, and accepted for who they are!
Here are some points to consider when striving for zero discrimination in the workplace:
