HighByte Intelligence Hub Pipelines Use Case: Protocol Transformation

Watch Aron Semle demonstrate the new Pipelines feature in HighByte Intelligence Hub version 3.0 by walking through a protocol transformation use case. Aron exports a well-defined hierarchy structure within OPC UA and imports that structure into Sparkplug. Then he demonstrates how to use the Pipelines feature to filter out data, flatten data, and move the hierarchy structure out of Sparkplug over MQTT in generic JSON.

HighByte Intelligence Hub Pipelines Use Case: Data Lake

In this second video, Aron Semle demonstrates the new Pipelines feature in HighByte Intelligence Hub version 3.0 by walking through a data lake use case. Aron builds a pipeline to buffer data, converts that data to CSV, and then ships that data to Amazon S3. He then illustrates how easy it is to partition data and add another target to Azure Blob Storage using the same pipeline.

Bringing sustainability to your industrial data architecture

Tackling emissions and data center energy consumption means manufacturers must address sustainability on two fronts. First, they must improve operations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Second, they must calculate the impact of data storage and processing that these emissions insights require. Read this post to learn how DataOps can unlock sustainability use cases on both fronts by improving operational efficiency and reducing cloud storage for unnecessary data.
