March comes in like a Lion and out like a Lamb?
Blown away. The old saying is that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb, but I am not sure that can hold true for 2023. Traditionally it meant that March brought high winds while April is the beginning of spring. Heading into April, the economy seems to be holding up but a wind of recession fear captures the headlines. Likewise, the news continues to cover school shooting as angry people become aggressive against the most innocent of our society. Fear looms in the hearts of Americans as we all face another variant of Covid 19. Some people wonder when a new normal will settle in. The winds of discontent continue to blow. Out on the horizon is the hope to conquer fear. Hope that those in power will do what is best for our society. We can do our part. Kindness brings hope to others. Just a smile to calm a person, to help them understand that we all can withstand the storm if we work together. Together we have hope for the future. Hold onto hope, hold onto love.
