March 2024 Round-Up

March was an exciting month for us – we have lots to share!

In early March, Nathan Jupp , Commercial Sales Director for Aluminium International Today Magazine attended The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society 2024 event in Orlando, Florida.

Nathan shares: “The TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition brings together more than 4,000 engineers, scientists, business leaders, and other professionals in the minerals, metals, and materials fields for a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary exchange of technical knowledge. This event was a great opportunity to meet with our key clients in the industry; there were around 15-20 current customers that advertise with us at this year’s event.”

Our March Exhibitions

World Vape Show , Paraguay – 08-09 March

Another record breaking trade show from the World Vape Show team. Launched just last year, our second event in Paraguay saw a 63% increase in visitor numbers and a high percentage of exhibitors re-booking to solidify our growth plans in the region.

The Cleaning Show , Manchester – 13-14 March

This event was hugely successful, being our biggest and best attended Manchester show, with a record breaking 85 exhibitors and 2558 attendees!

Well done to both our teams who coordinated such great events! We look forward to seeing how these continue to grow!

Our March Achievements

Alongside the success of our shows, this month we have received some notable achievements and recognition within the events industry.

1. We became members of the UK Chapter of Women in Exhibitions Network. This is a great opportunity for our female employees to network, share experiences and continue to grow within the UK exhibitions industry.
2. Many of our events are now CPD-accredited. This allows the chance to further your professional development journey when attending our events!
3. As part of the Exhibition News Awards, we were thrilled to be shortlisted for THREE awards:

• Best International Trade Event ( World Vape Show )
• Best Event Director ( Jake Nixon )
• Employer of the Year ( Quartz Business Media )

We attended the awards night, delighted with what we’d achieved thus far, networking with our peers, and enjoying the evening. The night took a celebratory turn when we WON the award for Employer of the Year 2024. We are so immensely proud of our team – this recognition accentuates our culture and what a great place to work at Quartz is! ?

A special mention to our World Vape Show and Jake Nixon who were shortlisted as finalists within their award categories for the second time!
