Employee Spotlight - Joe Vautrin

Meet Joe Vautrin, our newest service desk tech with 3 years of direct IT experience. He was born in DC and raised in Bethesda, Maryland.

A University of Vermont graduate, Joe launched his IT career at a MicroCenter Techshop. Amidst a post-pandemic surge in broken devices, Joe's dedication to component repairs and custom PC builds earned him recognition in the Captain’s Club for prioritizing customer satisfaction and delivering efficient solutions.

Transitioning to enterprise IT, Joe excelled in on-site service desk roles in DC and Maryland, embracing command line, PowerShell, AzureAD, and regular AD. Joining Airiam in December, Joe thrives despite the learning curve, fueled by his passion for DIY electronics, gaming, and continuous learning in Python, SQL, and multi-cloud projects in Azure and AWS.
