• Egypt Tourist Visa Updates

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has facilitated the application for touristic visas in efforts to promote tourism in Egypt. For many countries, visiting Egypt has now become as easy as it gets! Chinese citizens can acquire the visa upon arrival. Indian citizens with residency from the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council can also acquire the visa upon arrival. Furthermore, citizens of the USA, the UK, the Schengen Area countries, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, and Australia are now able to use their valid visa for multiple entries. Turkish citizens can now acquire the visa upon arrival without any age restrictions. With the help of travel agencies, Algerian, Moroccan, and Iranian citizens can also acquire the visa upon arrival. Israeli citizens can now visit Hurghada through travel agencies. Iranian citizens can acquire the visa upon arrival if they have a valid visa, previously used, from USA, UK, Schengen Area, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, and Australia. Those under 16 and above 60 can apply for the visa online through https://visa2egypt.gov.eg/.

• Royalty Visiting Royalty

Queen Matilda of Belgium and Princess Elizabeth visited the tomb of King Tutankhamun on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the visit of the late Queen Elizabeth of Belgium. Princess Elizabeth recreated the famous picture her grandmother once took on the balcony at the historic Winter Palace of Luxor.
