Marathon des Sables
Last week I was fortunate enough to complete the Marathon des Sables to raise money for the Felix Fund and Great Ormond Street Hospital charities. Over 250km in 6 days in the Sahara desert, I now know why it is regarded as “the toughest foot race on earth”. It was both beautiful and brutal. I managed to finish in 42 hours, 14 minutes, and 360 out of 998(ish) competitors. I would like to say a huge thank you to David O'Brien at Supernatural Fuel for all of his advice, support and amazing products, as well as Sean Crawford for his advice, support and kit. Please, if you have yet to sponsor either charity then you can use the links below. Every little will go a long way. Thank you!
