MARAD's Newest Ready Reserve Force Vessel, the Cape Cortes, to Make Homeport Arrival at Port of Pascagoula's Singing River Island

[PASCAGOULA, MS – October 4, 2023] — The Port of Pascagoula is excited to announce the first of two highly anticipated arrivals of the U.S. Maritime Administration's (MARAD) newest Ready Reserve Force vessel, the Cape Cortes. This state-of-the-art vessel will make its official homeport arrival at the Port of Pascagoula’s Singing River Island facility on October 5th at 10:00 a.m. The Cape Cortes is set to become an integral part of the Port of Pascagoula’s maritime landscape for the foreseeable future, underscoring the Port's strategic importance and commitment to national readiness and security.

The second of the two vessels, the Cape Arundel, is set to arrive by the end of October.?
