Ensuring Data Defensibility when Breaches are Inevitable

Our own Steve Stone and Martin Walter held a special session at RSA Conference discussing cyber resilience strategies and exploring different ways IT and security teams could optimize their data security efforts when bracing for a breach.?

Steve and Martin both bring a unique perspective to the table, as they both originally began their careers focused on different paths in cybersecurity, eventually making the transition to data security. Martin began the session by providing detailed examples of the worst things that can happen during an attack, and followed that by providing the most important ways teams can prepare for an attack. This includes having immutable backups, having multiple methods of communication between stakeholders ready, and, most importantly, having a plan ahead of time.?

Steve tapped into his background in threat intelligence to provide insights on how to give context to decision makers when push comes to shove. Here’s the TL;DR:?
