Raster Analysis is a core part of spatial analysis these days. MapInfo Pro has been able to run these for decades, initially via Vertical Mapper and lately via MapInfo Pro Raster.
With the latest Geo Raster SDK, you will now be able to create raster analysis on the server side. You can, for example, run these analyses using SQL within the Spectrum Spatial Feature REST Service.
